The 360 Approach - New for 2021
iPLATO’s core expertise in population health engagement has allowed us to support vaccination programmes for many years through targeted and personalised SMS campaigns complemented by selective appointment booking on the myGP App and a chatbot for patient education around common objections to seasonal flu immunisation.
For flu 2021, we are launching a web-based booking tool that will support the booking needs of vaccination in the community. This will sit alongside our current offering of SMS invitations, call/recall, app-booking and online chatbots.
Our unique offering allows us to support personalised patient engagement campaigns at any level including practice, PCN, CCG, NHS regional or national level.
How Does It Work?
The solution compromises:
Regional information sharing via SMS - offering consistent messaging to a defined population
Online booking - the ability for communities to book vaccination appointments online
SMS reminders to book with call/recall - reminders sent at a practice level to invite eligible patients to book via dedicated slot types in myGP app
myGP app - set dedicated slot types for vaccinations, only visible to those invited to book
Chatbot - used for dispelling myths and providing information around flu vaccinations
