NOW NAC with Selenium provides 600mg of N-Acetyl Cysteine, a stable, sulfur-containing form of the non-essential amino acid cysteine that acts as a stabilizer for protein structure formation and is necessary for the body's production of glutathione, a key antioxidant. The formula is combined with selenium and molybdenum, essential trace minerals that facilitate the production of several important enzymes.\n\nNAC is commonly used to support immune health and the body's natural antioxidant defenses. Each capsule uses a hypromellose (cellulose) capsule shell rather than gelatin.
