This section provides a list of examples templates you can refer to when sending out your seasonal flu invites.

Please Note: These are only template suggestions and all are under 160 characters in length.

Pre-Invite Instructions

Alternate Flu Invite

Follow-up Message

Invite Without Trigger Word

Invite For Walk-In Clinic

(Add surgery name): Dear <firstname2>, you are eligible for a free Flu jab. Please attend our open walk-in session on DD/MM from 2pm to 4pm

Invite to a Parent/Guardian (For Under 16s)

At Risk Groups

16-64 At Risk

myGP Version

SMS Version

(Add surgery name): Dear <firstname2>, you are eligible for a free flu jab.  To book, download the myGP app www.mygp.io/app or text back DECLINE to refuse

Covid Requirements Reminder

(Add surgery name): Dear <firstname2>, please wear a facial covering when at surgery and follow guidelines given when receiving your flu jab. Thank you

Patients With A Carer

(Add surgery name): Dear <firstname2>, if you need to bring someone with you to your flu jab, please inform reception when you arrive at the surgery.  Thanks
