How do Automatic Reminders work?

Appointment Reminders are automatic text messages sent to your patients that will remind them of their upcoming appointment. Below is an example of a default text message:

After receiving this message, patients will have the opportunity to write back CANCEL from this text message and it will cancel automatically cancel the appointment on your clinical system.

The patients can text back upper case or lower case spellings of this word, also the system has been programmed to pick up several variations of misspellings, such as ancel, etc.
