What are Appointment Reasons?

When a patient using the myGP app books into an appointment, they will  need to input an Appointment Reason before their booking is confirmed.

The appointment reason field is obligatory for a patient to fill in for an appointment to be booked and confirmed.

Appointment Reason are linked to specific preGP signposts, and will pick up in order to prevent any appointment misbookings.

Below is an example of a Specialist Services signpost picking up for a patient that has booked in for a GP face to face appointment. They have imputed an Appointment Reason of Blood Test, a Blood Test appointment is offered by a preGP signpost:
